Spring Rolls @ The Sheppard Centre

I love this place. Never seems to dissapoint ever. We pretty much have dinner there every second saturday. Huge portions, reasonable prices but the best part of this restaurant HAS to be the staff. They are so nice and friendly. They know our order by heart and always come over and say hi and ask how our day is going.... the little things that can really make your experience a great one. My favourite is the DS1 followed by a T4 with extra sauce, and spicy....yummy!!

I ordered a VEGETARIAN dish and asked for it to be delivered to my office. I specifically said that I am completely vegetarian and the person taking my order ensured me that this was completely vegetarian (free of eggs, fish, chicken and dairy). As I was finishing my meal, I noticed the there was a so-called piece of tofu in my food that certainly didn't have the texture like the rest of the tofu had in the dish. I asked a colleague to check for me and she confirmed that it was NOT TOFU, but it was CHICKEN. I was completed disgusted and couldn't believe a reputable restaurant like Spring Rolls would make this kind of mistake. I will never go back to this restaurant especially because they do not realize that people have dietary restrictions, allergies, etc...

I must say that everytime I go for dinner at Spring Rolls in the Sheppard Centre, I am never dissapointed. My favourite dish has to be the Thai Red Curry House (substitute fried rice and you're in heaven). The staff there are all so amazingly friendly and the managers always comes over to greet us and ask how our service was. Highly recommended!
